The goal is to increase ones employability and chances for career success.

2. Job Search Strategies

This training provides job search techniques for individuals in career transition, or seeking new employment. It focuses on labour market information, employment standards, values & interests, workplace skills, cover letter and resume writing, LinkedIn & networking, and interviewing skills. The goal is to better prepare and build ones confidence in finding more suitable employment that aligns with ones skill-set, values, interests and work experience.

3. Workplace Based Skills for Succcess

This training enhances the current skills (reading, writing, numeracy, digital, problem solving, communication, creativity & innovation, collaboration, and adaptability) and employability of individuals in all sectors, such as in Retail & Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Grocery Stores and Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE). The goal is to fine-tune the hard and soft workplace skills of individuals currently employed or in volunteer roles, working in different occupations and industries.

4. Customer Service Skills

This training provides knowledge and practical skills in public and customer relations. It focuses on interpersonal relations, positive customer attitudes and awareness, image and professionalism, customer service policies, dealing with difficult customers and conflict resolution and negotiation. The goal is to improve ones customer service, in order to achieve more effective communication with customers, and increase productivity and efficiency within organizations.

5. Intercultural Communication in the Workplace

This training explains the elements of an interpersonal communication skill set for communicating across cultures, resolving conflict in a sensitive way when intercultural barriers are involved, and applying skills and strategies for communicating interpersonally in a variety of cultural backgrounds. The goal is to understand the importance of and how to create cross-cultural interpersonal communication skills in the workplace.

6. English for Life Program

This training aims to build confidence, to address social isolation and encourage individuals to take steps to improve their quality of life.  The areas of focus are on learning general skills such as talking on the phone, asking directions or finding out banking information. The goal is to improve ones confidence and English-speaking skills, in day-to-day life, and to be more succcessful in finding paid employment or active volunteering.
